Biography:
A former government pharmacist payer with over 15 years experience in access and reimbursement for new medicines and advising NHS government guidelines at NICE HTA Omar has been a visiting Lecturer at UCLH Pharmacy Programme and was both Lecturer & Examiner on Independent Prescribing the University of Surrey He has over 30 publications to date was an Editorial Content Adviser to Guidelines, and Associate Editor to the Canadian Journal of Population Therapeutics & Clinical Pharmacology. He has advised foreign investors (US Embassy) on ‘Value Based Assessments. As head of payers at Verpora, he leads a group of 150 global payers within a network bringing pricing, access & reimbursement expertise from over 30 markets across the globe.
