Biography: Dr. Adei Batawee is a consultant & the chairman of the Risk Management Department at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC). He earned his PhD in the UK and has worked in healthcare since 1991. Since joining KFMC in 2005, he has led the introduction of numerous technologies aimed at enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities. Ensuring risk and safety has consistently been a top priority when implementing any technology in healthcare, particularly for disabled individuals. Dr. Batawee has gained extensive expertise in risk management through his experience in the rehabilitation field, complemented by his Master of Business Administration (MBA), the International Certificate in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management (IRM, UK), certification in Enterprise Risk Management, certification as a Health and Safety professional, certification as a practitioner in the Management of Risk (MOR®), and certification as an ISO 31000 trainer by G31000.
