Biography of Dr. Marie Julie Boudreau-Klymas:
Julie Boudreau-Klymas, RN, MScN, ACNP, has been appointed chief nurse executive and vice president of patient care services at Natchitoches Regional Medical Centre. In this position, Julie is directly responsible for managing all nursing services and care delivery for the whole health system, which includes the hospital, The Courtyard of Natchitoches, and the network of NRMC clinics.

With a broad range of experience, Julie has held positions such as Clinical Consultant for the Cardiovascular Service Line at CHRISTUS Highland Medical Centre in Shreveport, Vice President of Operations and Business Development at Regional One Health in Memphis, Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Centre in Baton Rouge, and Vice President of Operations and Nursing at the Heart and Vascular Institute at Citrus Valley Health Partn.

Director of Critical Care Services at UCLA-Santa Monica Medical Centre in California; Medical and Respiratory Care Units, Cedar-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles. She held direct clinical care positions when she first started nursing.
Julie has a Master of Science in Nursing (CNS), ACNPC from Emory University in Atlanta, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Certificate in Biological Sciences (pre-medicine) from the University of Montreal in Canada, an RN diploma from CEGEP St-Laurent in Canada, a Master of Science in Nursing (RN) from Emory University in Atlanta, and she is currently enrolled at Southern Illinois University to complete a Doctorate in Nursing Practise in Executive/Health System Leadership.
